  • New Library Books!

    Fri 11 Nov 2016

Today Glebe Library was updated with over 70 new books all thanks to you! The money you spent at the book fair this year raised nearly £400 for us to spend on new books. The books in the library include authors such as Roald Dahl, Oliver Jeffers, and David Walliams, and some famous titles: Captain Underpants and Horrid Henry! Children will get to chose these books during their library sessions every other Friday and we are sure you will love them as much as they will! Happy reading!

  • Local Olympian Visits School

    Mon 17 Oct 2016
Today we were visited by Vicky Holland, an Olympic Triathlon Bronze Medallist at this years Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.  While at school in Newent she was a nationally ranked swimmer before moving to athletics and taking up the 1500 metres.  She didn't begin competing in triathlons until her second year at Loughborough University when she was approached by British Triathlon.  She has competed in competitions all over the world and we were very lucky to have her visit us today.  She talked to the children about her training schedule and her time in Brazil during this years games.
